In fact, what’s surprising that 3 star dun even realise..
SMRT is a corp entity after all, can’t do some things
as like typical govt dept…
I’m speaking of the Thomson Line matter.. and to realise,
SMRT unlike SBST dun have a central
planning dept.. all leave to subsidary ops co to settle
themselves..
So I think it is a matter of time these newly appointed people to
do somethig about their rail division. If they have to relegate all
their resources and personnel inside to improve the rail operations
and give up their bus division for that, I will fully support.
Afterall, rail operations is their forte and main core business
and they should focus on that for the well being as a whole. They
can still operate small scale BusPlus services and cabs which is an
easy source of income, that is, if they are to improve it too.
